I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. I have also worked as a Mathematics and English teacher in UK and Australian high-schools. I am currently working on a sociological study of pedagogy in south Indian rural primary schools. My research has drawn on qualitative approaches, particularly observational case-studies of classroom practice and semi-structured interviews with teachers.
